US Ambassador Yuri Kim gave a message of the importance of Justice Reform as she stressed out that no one is above the law

US Ambassador Yuri Kim gave a message of the importance of Justice Reform as she stressed out that no one is above the law. Kim stated that work must continue to stop corruption and this is the task of the Albanians themselves.

“Albania has made progress and citizens are seeing the results of these efforts. The institutions are already functional. It does not matter how powerful it is. No one is above the law. It is up to you to show that this is true and will be true. Corruption is being fought.

Some did not want this to happen. Work must continue to stop corruption. It is the duty of Albanians and not foreigners to do this. It is time for Albanians to have faith. Justice is required. You did a good job but still have a lot of work to do. “It is a critical moment,” she said.

She expressed US support, while adding that now is the time to celebrate the achievements of these 5 years and continue the improvement for further success.

“The United States supports you and wants to see your work continue. We have supported justice reform from the beginning and we will be with you until the end. I want to emphasize that efforts for justice reform have begun since the Obama administration and continue today by Biden, It’s the right time to celebrate because much has been achieved.

It’s the right time to look around to see what we can improve. Let us continue to improve so that further success can continue. It’s the right time for a discussion for the next 5 years. Albanians must continue to support reform. They can no longer steal from Albanians. “It is time to show that justice will prevail in Albania,” Kim said.
