On Tuesday, Albania and Italy will finalize the agreement on the mutual recognition of social security contributions.
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, will sign the agreement with his Tajani counterpart.
The agreement comes as an obligation and right to Albanian, Italian and Italo-Albanian citizens, who have worked with dedication for 30 years and have contributed to the economy and social progress of both our countries.
Minister Hasani’s visit to Italy marks an in-depth commitment to expanding cooperation with Italy in areas of mutual interest, in accordance with the Strategic Partnership Declaration.
The aim is to reaffirm Italy’s support, both bilaterally with a wide range of cooperation in areas of common interest, and multilaterally, especially in European integration, reaffirming Italy’s support for an accelerated integration process up to in 2030, as stated by Deputy Prime Minister and MFA Tajani.
