The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja held a meeting with the rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Dr. Artan Hoxha for opening a new horizon and quality partnership.

Gonxhja said that MEKI is determined to turn the Pact for the University, a priority of the Albanian Government, into a source of energy, ideas and projects, offering specialized education opportunities for young people, research practices, orientation towards life experience and administration that we want

He explained that the first step will be an archaeological project, which brings together the intellectual capacities, the energy of the students and the laboratory infrastructure of the Department of Archaeology, in order to recognize, conserve and promote the national culture.

“The common will to invest in increasing human, academic and student capacities. Vision to bring the university closer to the dynamics of the country’s economic and social developments, which urgently need opposition, in-depth knowledge and innovations, in an ever more integrated and competitive world”, said Gonxhja.
