Japan earthquakes, Hasani: Our thoughts and prayers are with the Japanese people and government
A series of 21 earthquakes struck central Japan in just over 90 minutes yesterday.
The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, expressed today that he was deeply saddened by the loss of life and damage caused by the earthquakes on the west coast of Japan.
“Deeply saddened by the loss of lives and damage caused by the earthquakes in western coast of Japan.
In these difficult moments, our thoughts and prayers are with the Japanese people and government. Heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones”, wrotes Hasani on social network platform “X”.

A series of 21 earthquakes measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale or greater struck central Japan in just over 90 minutes yesterday.
The most powerful earthquake of them was measured with a magnitude of 7.6.
The tremors triggered tsunami warnings and authorities urged the population of the affected areas to take shelter on higher ground.
