The President of Albania, Ilir Meta received today in a meeting the new Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Ghazi Ismail Hifzi, on the occasion of the presentation of Credentials.

President Meta congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and assured him of support in the successful fulfillment of his mission in Albania.

The Head of State praised the Ambassador’s experience and expressed confidence that his efforts will serve to further strengthen the very good relations between Albania and Saudi Arabia, especially in the economic and trade fields.

President Meta expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the support, valuable technical and financial assistance and development programs provided over the years by Saudi Arabia for Albania and the Albanian people.
